-Résumé en Anglais : This research explores how narration contributes to
worldbuilding in English fantasy novels. The study also examines the features of
description-mediated and narration-mediated worldbuilding. The analysis
focuses on Pratchett’s The Colour of Magic and Rowling’s first two Harry Potter
books. Data was gathered through qualitative content analysis and the use of a
research journal.

يستكشف هذا البحث كيف يساهم السرد في بناء العوالم في روايات الخيال
الإنجليزية. وتتناول الدراسة أيضًا خصائص بناء العوالم بوساطة الوصف والسرد. ترتكز الدراسة على
كتاب "لون السحر" لبراتشيت وأول كتابين من سلسلة هاري بوتر لرولينج
تم جمع البيانات بواسطة تحليل المحتوى النوعي و كذلك استعمال مذكرات البحث.
